Overview
Foundries produce cast metal components by melting, molding, and finishing materials such as iron, steel, aluminum, and brass. These processes generate significant amounts of airborne dust and fumes. Common sources include silica sand from molding, metallic dust from grinding and finishing, combustion byproducts from melting, and fine particulates from shakeout and reclamation. The combination of high heat, abrasive materials, and fine dust makes air quality control critical for worker safety, equipment protection, and regulatory compliance.

High Temp Construction

Service Friendly Design
We engineer our dust collectors with serviceability at the forefront—making routine maintenance safer, faster, and more efficient. We recommend a ladder and access platform package as well as a remote mounted fan placement.
HEPA After-Filters & Broken Bag Detectors
Implement secondary safeguards to ensure harmful chemical dusts are properly filtered. We can supply and install HEPA housing units on the return ducting line to capture even the smallest leftover particles. Also available is the particulate detection system, which monitors return airflow to ensure the filtration is working as designed.
