Overview
Mining operations—whether surface, underground, or processing—generate substantial volumes of airborne dust. From drilling, blasting, and crushing to conveying, screening, and loading, nearly every phase of mineral extraction and handling releases fine particulates. Common dust sources include silica, coal, metal ores, and aggregate materials. These particulates pose serious health risks, reduce visibility, and accelerate equipment wear if not properly controlled. Dust collection systems are essential to maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient mining environments
Challenges & Considerations
Heavy-Duty Conditions: Mining environments are harsh—dust collectors must withstand vibration, abrasion, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
Remote and Mobile Operations: Equipment often operates in remote or mobile setups, making centralized dust collection difficult and requiring flexible, rugged solutions.
Environmental Compliance: Mining sites are subject to strict air quality regulations from MSHA, EPA, and other agencies, especially regarding fugitive dust emissions.
Worker Safety and Visibility: High dust concentrations reduce visibility and increase accident risk, particularly in underground or enclosed spaces.
Heavy Duty Construction
Incorporating a full welded construction made with satin coated galvanized sheet metal and grade 5 zinc coated hardware, our equipment is made to last. We have dust collectors thriving in all environments – from the Pogo Mine in Alaska to the Fekola Mine in Mali Africa.
Optional Construction features includes stainless steel construction, custom coatings applications, and heavy duty support stands for seismic zone 4 application.
Customizable for Mobility
We engineer our dust collection systems to meet your specific mobility and transportation requirements—no matter how demanding. Whether it’s optimizing a collector housing to fit within a standard shipping container or designing modular components that can be disassembled and lowered down narrow mine shafts, our team delivers solutions that move with your operation.

HEPA After-Filters & Broken Bag Detectors
Implement secondary safeguards to ensure harmful chemical dusts are properly filtered. We can supply and install HEPA housing units on the return ducting line to capture even the smallest leftover particles. Also available is the particulate detection system, which monitors return airflow to ensure the filtration is working as designed.
